Tanka Panta is a veteran journalist with over three decades of experience in investigative journalism, human rights advocacy, and media leadership. He has extensively covered topics related to governance, social justice, human rights, peace, conflicts, corruption, and the rights of women and children.
Tanka Panta is a well-respected journalist whose career spans over three decades in print, television, and radio journalism. His investigative reporting and research have significantly contributed to Nepal’s media landscape, particularly in the areas of human rights, anti-corruption, and social justice. His leadership in various national and international media organizations underscores his influence and dedication to journalistic integrity.
He has served in various editorial capacities in Nepal’s leading publications, including Nepal Samacharpatra, and has been a Parliament Reporter since 1990. In addition, he has contributed to national and international discussions through seminars, research, exclusive talk shows and advocacy in the fields of human rights, peace, governance, and media ethics.
He is currently serving as a vice chairperson of Federation of International Journalist, America (FINJA).
